I always say I’ll make a list before October so I don’t spend an hour scrolling before deciding on each day’s movie, but I never do. I tend to either make the plan and then not do the thing or I do the thing without a plan. Rarely both. This is my third movie today in my quest to catch up. I scrolled past several that I probably would enjoy, but stopped when I saw Jeffrey Combs. I love him in everything he does. The Re-Animator is one of my favorite movies of all time, not just horror. Castle Freak stars both Combs and Barbara Crampton. I recognized her scream before I even saw her face. So here we go. Maybe I’ll even finish that fingerless glove I was working on during the last movie.

Closing thoughts: really enjoyed this one. It’s dark and bleak. Didn’t quite finish my glove because I was too absorbed in the movie.
