Today I’m watching another old movie I added to my watchlist sometime in the last year. Death Ship, a movie about survivors of a sunken cruise ship who climb aboard the creepy freighter that rammed them, only to find that they are in a nazi torture ship…run by ghosts? Something like that. We’ll see.
Oh, German. That freighter sure is hauling ass. They’re heading right toward that cruise ship. Really enjoying the evil ship score. Delightfully foreboding. There’s the excitement you’ve been missing out on, Captain. How convenient, next captain and his entire family made it onto a lifeboat. There’s the freighter again. Came out of nowhere and somehow snuck up on the lifeboat. It’s probably safe to board, right? That boat does not like the men at all lol. Bye bye, comedian. Brown ass water and the kid was going to drink it. If it’s a nazi torture ship, wouldn’t the ghosts haunting the place be…not nazis? Rather unpleasant man? Not the way I’d describe Hitler, but okay. I see the captain found a new uniform. So much for everyone sticking together. I just realized why I like the boat music so much. It reminds me of every Star Trek: The Original Series fight scene, except it’s more ominous.
Closing thoughts: slow start, but once they got on the ship, I really got into it. Very atmospheric. The hallucinations were a nice touch. I liked this one quite a bit.
