I was thinking about doing an artist or author spotlight today, but I am in the mood to veg out in front of the tv. Depression is exhausting. It was just one of those days. These things are coming though. Since I’ve had a trip to the beach on my mind, I decided it’s time for a shark movie. Night Flight Plus has no shortage of shark movies. I settled on Monster Shark, aka Devil Fish.
Starting out with a coast guard helicopter rescue. Don’t look like this guy is alive. Heh dolphins. Donald the dolphin. Baby shark doo doo doo. Uh oh, the dolphins are freaking out. You don’t want to see him, he’s all chomped up. Monster doesn’t show up on audio recordings. Is it supernatural? Not according to the description. That was the worst choking ever. Wow, four breasts in the first 20 minutes. Hoooooly fuck that’s a weird ass mutant looking shark. More chompy chomps. Ooh this guy survived. I need some red lipstick and baby blue eyeshadow. Icon. Uh oh, sounds like someone’s getting chomped. Wtf does that shark have tentacles?! Meatball cop falling asleep at the big sharkologist presentation. I wonder how many of these scientists are going to die trying to catch it. Good luck tranquillizing a tentacled shark monster lol. Looks like these two are getting the chomps while the other two are making out on the beach. Shark science. Aww it’s a baby monster. Ooh we got a government cover up murder for hire subplot. Meatball seems to be catching on.
So this movie is supremely stupid, but it takes itself so seriously with all the shark science. I love it.
