I wasn’t kidding when I said I wanted to watch the entire franchise after having seen the newest Evil Dead in the theater. Tonight’s movie is Army of Darkness. I won’t be writing out reactions because really, what else can I say about this movie that I haven’t said a million times before. I love it. It’s so goofy and fun. This is what I think of when I see the words horror comedy. I totally understand Bruce Campbell’s feelings about the new movies not having any humor. That’s what makes the original trilogy special. That’s what keeps us diehards coming back to them again and again. I do enjoy the newer ones as well because I am a gorehound, but they definitely have a different flavor than the originals. Anyway. Army of Darkness. I’m going to continue eating my chorizo potato egg tacos and enjoy my movie. If you haven’t watched this one in a while, you should. It’s such a fun movie. Shop smart, shop S-Mart!
