Books, movies, and other totally normal human things

Day 23 of 100 days of Halloween: House (1977)

You know, it’s funny. I have watchlists on every streaming platform, yet when it comes time to choose one to watch, I scroll until something speaks to me. I guess I’m in the mood for subtitles again, because I just couldn’t move past this Japanese horror comedy.

School girls, one called Fantasy and the other Gorgeous. It’s giving “they were roommates”. Daddy brought home a new girlfriend. Oh she mad. What a brat. Well, this is boring. Finally, something interesting. Auntie is a right weird one.

I rarely tap out of bad movies, but I tapped out of this one at the hour mark. If I’ve watched an hour of an hour and a half movie, I’m not missing anything by skipping that last bit. I’ve seen this movie described as trippy and it just isn’t. I generally love horror comedy, but again, this isn’t it. It’s a pass for me.
