I had completely forgotten about this movie until I was googling Ice Cream Man (2026) last night. It reminded me of the time the squid and I saw a signed movie poster featuring the image above at a fandom store in the Valle Vista Mall in Harlingen. I thought it was cool, despite having never seen the movie. I am familiar with Clint Howard’s work. Anyway, I decided it’s time to watch this one.

Starts out in black and white. Interesting. Whaaat. Why would anyone want to kill the ice cream man? And wtf is wrong with that kid. Oh hey, it’s Deanna Troi’s mystery alien child. Now that is interesting. Ice cream man is mighty creepy. This is so much better than the movie I saw last night. Ice cream dork lol. This movie is super dumb, but it’s the kind of dumb I like. The effects are goofy, the acting is terrible, and the villain is ridiculous. And of course, the cops are totally incompetent. Or more deep freezer. Nice product placement. That ice cream making scene lmao. You’re ice cream 😈 Who’s the pied piper now, ice cream dick. Where else? Therapy. Very quotable movie. Super fun.
