I’m in the mood for something goofy tonight. I’d say a movie called Scared Shitless with cover art featuring a toilet with tendrils popping out of the bowl and a bloody hand print on the lid qualifies as goofy. Thanks to one of my favorite crochet content creators Alt Knots for the recommendation. If you’re into crochet and horror, check out her channel. I really like her vibe. This movie is labeled horror/comedy and has a pretty short runtime, which is generally a tell that this is gonna be stupid as fuck. I tend to like stupid horror comedies, though some do lean more into the stupid than the comedy. Let’s see where this one lands.

Oh man. Imagine being a germaphobe going on a plumbing job with your grandfather. That’s not exactly clean work, but some folks think exposure therapy is the way to get over your phobias. Starting with a building on fire. Okay. Oooh creature noises. Mmm green beans. That reminds me, I need to cook my salsa verde before my tomatillos go bad. Is that the grandpa? He does not look old enough to be this guy’s grandpa. Oooh it’s his dad. Go eat your dinner, you little shit. Oh shit. That’s some wound. The music in this movie is goofy as shit. It’s like all parodies of old pop. The glove fits like a glove har har har. Ah fart jokes. Love it. What are you talking to, buddy? Sounds wet and gurgly. The way he talks to it reminds me of the way Stimpy talked to his fart child. Bahahaha. I think you done fucked up just now. The captions are hilarious. Loving the plumber and potty humor. I am a child. This old couple is relationship goals lol. Love them. Oh shit! Not the old man slut! Lmao omg. And this guy is all nonchalant like it’s not the weirdest job he’s ever done. Amazing. Project X. Dumbass. Come on, calling the cops never did anyone any good in a horror movie. Really? Pepto? Hmm maybe a sequel in the future.

That was a fun movie. Was it dumb? Hell yes. But it was also hilarious. What can I say, I like stupid shit. Pun intended.
